The small black dog in question is my Labrador bitch.  She's a petite working dog, very pretty, 3 years old and jet black except for a small white medallion on her chest.  Her name is Lady and she's been my companion since she was about 6 months old. Sarah contracted pneumonia and died a few days later in hospital aged 36.
